Let’s do it Romania!
Nature represents a source of life that, at the same time, breathes, rejoices, cries… lives. Too busy, too hurried and stressed, we forget about everything that surrounds us, emphasizing things that have no importance, forgetting that happiness is hidden in the little things that conceal right under our eyes.
Since when you haven’t looked at a sunset in the arms of your loved one, since when you haven’t smiled, watching how a flower bud gathers courage and shows its beauty, since when you didn’t rejoice when the shy rays of the sun knock on your window in the morning to say “Good morning”?
In order to enjoy nature, we must take care of it.
Thus, in 2008, the “Let’s Do It World” campaign was initiated, whose motto is “Cleaning the whole country in one day“. This project was born in Estonia and easily conquered a lot of followers from all over the world, ready to make nature happy.
This year “Let’s Do It Romania” wants to gather even more nature lovers who for one day try to save the beauty of nature and polish its shine after some persons who, from ignorance or bad habit, bury it in the garbage.
On September 28, 2013, national cleanliness day is organized in 96 countries under the umbrella of the original “Let’s Do It, World!” project, so Romanians from all over the country are invited to participate in this project, being in solidarity with the idea of a cleaner and healthier world, for each of us to enjoy.
Those who participate in this project will become friends, thanks to the common interest shown for the protection of nature. So, if you want to be part of this project, you just have to register at the email address recrutare@letsdoitromania.ro, saying something about yourself, which will integrate you into the “Let’s Do It Romania” team of friends.
