VODKA – on a glass of story tale!

The drink of strong men, Vodka, originates from Russia, Ukraine and especially Poland. If in Russia the name came from the Russian diminutive for “water”, the term meaning distilled alcoholic drink, in Poland, in 1400, vodka was considered a real medicine used to increase fertility. It is said that Vodka was created by a Russian monk in 1430 who, after leaving a potato to ferment, distilled it, resulting in an alcoholic drink with a strong taste, odorless and colorless.
The great chemist Mendeleev claimed that vodka must contain 38% alcohol, because that way it can keep its intense taste without having serious health consequences.
Nowadays, vodka is considered an elegant and very strong drink, whose taste will leave you breathless, persisting for a long time, but whose smell of alcohol cannot be detected.
