Our Hospitality Stories – Claudia’s story – SPA Manager

In the following lines, we will present you our colleague, Claudia, as a person with a lot of energy for life, solidarity, goodwill and finally, a person with an integrity of character who excels in the field of hospitality through her professional skills, worthy of noted.

The story in the field of hospitality began when he worked as a SPA manager for a famous hotel on the Romanian coast. The desire to reach even higher in this profession guided her to choose to be part of the Alpin team.

She started with a sales experience in the SPA and in a short time she was noticed by her exemplary results in treating clients, with a very high degree of professionalism, by her excellent communication skills, involvement and solving any existing problems, thus promoted in her much-loved profession as SPA manager, in Alpin Resort Hotel.

Once in her natural “habitat”, Claudia contributed to the evolution and perfection of the therapies, treatments & rituals within this SPA.

She also helped to better organize the multiple options that guests can choose to relax (a varied range of therapies implemented).

All this increased the reputation of the Vitarium SPA throughout the mountain area, winning recognition, numerous awards and an exclusive identity in the field.

Vitarium SPA can be described as an oasis of relaxation, facilitating the thousands of guests who cross its threshold, body & facial treatments, relaxation rituals and diversified massages of the highest quality.

The therapies, as well as the rituals promoted throughout this SPA, are hosted by therapists with significant experience in this field, and in each ritual or therapy, only premium products are used, designed to meet the guest’s demands, from the very first visit.

We now go into some details, stories and experiences of Claudia at the Alpin hotel, and we learn that things were not easy from the beginning.

Coming as the new manager of the SPA from another activity (sales), this fact generated mistrust and a little reluctance on the part of her colleagues.

But, thanks to the continuous support that Claudia received from the hotel owners, for her professionalism, dedication and impeccable sense of responsibility, she managed to quickly integrate into the new team.

She reached a level of effective communication with each individual, which generated a natural and productive development of professional relationships within the SPA.

She told me that she never chose a job for the salary motivation (and she never would!).

She prefers to show her strength in the area she likes the most (the SPA), letting the hotel owners, colleagues and guests appreciate her true value.

It is one of her personal visions, which contributed to the image of integrity recognized by the people she interacts with on a daily basis.

Naturally, as in any discussion, I went into some deeper details of the job. I asked her what would be the most constructive and “special” things that a person in her position does to preserve the brand’s reputation.

Guests get a “special treatment”, she says, especially when it comes to booking therapies and relaxation rituals.

Claudia, with a lot of positive energy and order in ideas, listens to the guests, taking into account their expectations and offers them personalized therapies and rituals.

The ultimate goal is the well-being of the guest, the guarantee that he will return and promote the moments of relaxation experienced at Vitarium SPA.

I also discovered some nice expressions/replies, which the guests have used over time, choosing the funniest dialogue to be the following:

“-I thought we had an appointment tomorrow, excuse us for not arriving today, however we would like to reschedule the massage for tomorrow! (Guest)

– Of course! What time do you want to book? (Claudia – SPA Manager)

– Well… you see, we’re leaving tomorrow, so most likely on the next occasion! (Guest)”

After all, what a worthy job does not have some ups and downs!

This was Claudia’s story and we hope it wasn’t boring and monotonous, moreover, Claudia urges all readers to come as guests to Vitarium SPA, promising them that their experience will be 5-star (unforgettable).

And, in the new year (2022), she will come up with new implementations in terms of therapies and rituals (undisclosed at the moment), which will generate the joy and the well-being of the guests.
