Connections – “You create what you believe”
Music is the answer to which no question was asked, music is the form of expression that brings souls closer, that send messages and that unites generations. Some say that without music the world would be monotonous and sadder, colored in a suffocating gray, so beautify your existence by listening to the music that represents you best.
Rock music is considered the music of rebellious souls, the music of those who always hope for a change. This alert rhythm, in tune with the beating of an incomprehensible heart, conquered entire generations and continues to write its glorious history.
Brașov, the city of music, where the most important national and international festivals in this field take place, is also the place where the band “Conexiuni” was born.
In 1983, three young people eager for a change in the world of Romanian music, founded a musical band called “Conexiuni” (Connections). The three, Marcel Boca, Florian Stoica and Victor Lenghel, try to connect through music with reality and attract a lot of like-minded young people.
The 80s represent the period of searching for a musical identity, the three members of the band “Conexiuni” finding their belonging in the style of music called rock.
In 1986, the band Conexiuni received the popularity award at the “Primăvara Baladelor Festival” and the First Prize at the Top T Festival in Buzău. Also, in the same period, the band’s well-known songs appear, such as: “Former love” and “Defeated only for a moment”, songs that are still hummed with nostalgia and love by many of us today.
In 1987, due to the fact that Ramiro settles in Germany, Boca and Stoica graduate from college, the farewell concert takes place and saddens the fans of the rock genre and of the “Conexiuni” band.

In 1990, like the Pheonix bird, the “Conexiuni” band is reborn from its own ashes, at the initiative of Victor Lenghel, and the old band is joined by Victor Solomon – guitar.
An important event in the musical life of the “Conexiuni” band is the fact that in 1993, they sang at the opening of the Scorpions band’s concert at the “Rock ’93” international festival.
Over time, the “Conexiuni” band has changed its composition several times, but remains in the top of musical preferences. As everything evolves, changes and molds itself according to the new requirements, in 2011 the band “Conexiuni” welcomes Cătălin Dobre, the finalist from the well-known “Vocea României” contest.
Along with this, the “Conexiuni” band is preparing to conquer the souls of young people in love with rock, the appearance of Cătălin Dobre causing a sensation among the fans.
