International artists at ALPIN – Flavius and Linda Teodosiu
Our values honor us and make us proud to be Romanians. Regardless of the field in which they work, there are examples of such people who, through work, talent and maybe sometimes a little luck, managed to fulfill their dreams and make us all share in their success.
The Alpin Hotel team is honored to announce that on Easter evening they will have Flavius and Linda Teodosiu as special guests. For all those who will be with us for the Holy Easter Holidays, but also for those who may now decide to book a stay with us, we invite you to read a short presentation of the two artists who conquered the public from all over Europe and who chose to spend Easter Eve at the Alpin Hotel, to the applause of the audience that will be delighted to listen to them.
Flavius and Linda Teodosiu – 2 artists who conquered the world with their talent
Flavius and Linda Teodosiu are just two of the Romanians who represent our country, in the most honorable way, abroad. Flavius has been playing jazz since the age of 25 and is one of the most appreciated saxophonists, known abroad as “saxophone man”. In 1987 he went to Germany, and his talent propelled him onto the big stages of the world, alongside established artists, such as Chris de Burgh, Jennifer Rush or Gloria Gaynor. Leaving the country was not an easy decision. He managed to learn the language and the fact that he is blond with blue eyes helped him to integrate more easily among the Germans.
Linda Teodosiu and her international success
Flavius’s daughter, Linda, inherited his talent and has been singing her father’s songs since she was 12 years old. What helped her enormously in her career was winning second place in the talent competition show “Germany is looking for a superstar”, the German equivalent of the “Megastar” competition. In the third round, the exceptional interpretation of the song “Hero” by the diva Mariah Carey brought Linda congratulations from the famous singer herself. Then, she got to collaborate with big names on the international music scene, such as Gloria Gaynor, Beyonce and Michael Bolton. Most of all, she wants to sing with Michael Buble.
The Romanian singer also managed to reach the semi-finals of the “The winner is” contest, organized by the Sat 1 channel from Germany, which offered the biggest prize in media history: one million euros. Although she did not win the grand prize, Linda won the fabulous amount of 150 thousand euros. In fact, she won a multitude of prizes the past few years, at a series of music competitions in which she participated.
