Alpin Hotel – a dream location for your wedding

One of the first things you think about after getting engaged (besides the wonderful wedding dress/suit/tailcoat) is finding the venue for your wedding, something that causes a lot of headaches for the future couple. Especially if the bride is a control freak, everything is amplified.

What should that location be like, what are your expectations, what demands do you have from that location, including food, drink, cake, music…there is a lot to say.

We will try to give you some tips to guide you and to remember.

The space

You need space. You certainly don’t want people to step on their feet and give the impression of “sardines”.

The number of guests is very important in this choice. Plus, you have to visualize the arrangement of the tables, the bar, the DJ, the dance floor. Before their location, it may seem to you that the place is huge, but after… the situation changes.

The light

Even if you don’t believe it, the light can spoil your fun mood. Who would want to spend six hours in a dark room when the sun is shining? Or if it’s evening… make sure that the room is properly illuminated, that it is not too hazy or that the lighting can be controlled. Do you know how complicated it can be for a photographer to take quality pictures if there is no proper light? Filming is also difficult. It would be totally disturbing for the guests if the cameraman walked among the guests with a camera and a reflector.

The view

The wedding itself, the photos and filming are “once in a lifetime” events and you want the photos to be perfect. For that, you need a good photographer with a professional camera, good light and a dream landscape. Locations with a beautiful view always have something extra to offer. These are details that matter a lot.

The music/ acoustics

We’ve all been to events like this and we all know how important music is at a wedding. Everything counts. It is in vain that the guests want to dance if they don’t have any music, good music is in vain if it sounds like a broken cauldron, so… everything connects and everything matters. We hope you will not come across a DJ who is not prepared and who imposes his favorite music. It is very important to feel the guests and to intuit which type of music fits and to get people off their tables. The best thing would be to have a discussion with him before the wedding, to communicate both your preferences and musical interdictions.

Parking

Make sure that the chosen location offers enough parking space for the entire number of guests. We know how difficult it is to find a good and legal parking place. No one wants to find their car lifted or with a locked wheel. If parking is a problem, you must find other parking options and inform your guests when handing out the invitation. An excellent idea would be to choose a minibus that can bring everyone to the location.

The space

• Hotel Alpin has 43 rooms specially arranged for the excellent accommodation of between 10 and 500 people (theatre arrangement).

Music/ Acoustics

• The rooms that Alpin offers you benefit from excellent acoustics. The music/sound system must be discussed in advance with an Alpin representative. The sound system is organized depending on the size of the event and the number of guests, but it can also be provided by the customer.

Parking

• The hotel has 2 parking lots, the first with a capacity of about 80 places, and the other with about 150 places. There is a valet parking for hotel guests, and parking is free.
