Hotel Alpin Gastronomy


Today we try to enjoy a dessert that is available to everyone: Baked apples stuffed with raisins, honey, walnuts and cinnamon.

We believe that simple things are the best and most tasty. It’s not that sophisticated dishes you can find in restaurants Alpin (eg. Pheasant filled or spicy octopus) are not particularly tasty, but not to everyone.

And let’s be serious! What housewife prefers to sit for hours in the kitchen just to prepare a stuffed pheasant? When it is easier and more convenient to go to the restaurant and feel pampered, comfortable to sit at the table in a pleasant environment to come waiter to serve you with good wine, with delicious pheasant and finally do not have to wash a ton of boats?

But as big as we desire is, every time we try to present truly delicious recipes. Today we talk about Baked Apples!!!

To prepare this preparation we need ingredients found in any kitchen housewife, so do not worry.
Cooking time is 10 minutes and baking at 45 min.


So we need:
6 apples (apple selection criterion is based on … bigger and more beautiful … and that’s all the same size)
1 lemon
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
6 pieces cinnamon stick
6 fresh mint leaves
Some crushed nuts
6 small cubes of unsalted butter
4 tablespoons of honey

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Apples are washed, dried and spine are out every March in part without peeler reach the other side. Risk losing the juice formed during baking which gives’ a great apple flavor. Obviously … if this happens, there is no tragedy! Everything is ok!

We place the fruit in the pan in which I already put a baking sheet to prevent sticking fruit tray.

We can pick apples as much as we believe.

Separately, in a bowl add crushed walnuts, raisins, cinnamon powder and honey that is left.


Fill apples with this mixture.
Above each apple put a mint leaf and a diced butter and a cinnamon stick.

Place pan in oven. Recommended cooking time is 45 minutes, but varies depending on your oven. You can decorate with whipped cream or ice cream.

Serve hot!

If you do not have parchment paper handy, you can grease the pan with some butter or you can pour in the pan after you have arranged apples, half a cup of apple juice.
